Wedding Albums

I am wondering how long other brides have waited to get their wedding albums. My husband and I got married 6 months ago and we are still waiting for ours. Is this too long?

Have you received any of your pictures yet?  Did you choose what was in your album or did the photographer?  My sister waited about 9 months for her album but that said, she didn't turn in her choices for the album until about 4 months after she received her proofs and the photographer told her that it would arrive a couple of months after she gave final approval for the design.  I was wondering if I would have to wait that long but when she told me the details it made sense.  I'm just hoping I will be able to choose my pictures for the album in less time than it took her, but who knows.

I was married in Sept &  just recieved my Album about a month or so ago,so i would say 5-6 months is normal.

I would agree that six months sounds right, too, providing you get back the the photographer in a timely manner about which photos you want in it. 

The photographer for my girl's wedding gave her a mini (26 photo) album of pictures from her wedding just before she left the reception..we were totally surprised, and the shots were beautiful-we can't wait to see the rest of them!  It may take her months to decide which photos to have in her album, too!

My cousin got hers after a year. But she spent months picking out the pictures beforehand.
