XP - How long?

How long did your pictures before and after the ceremony take? My photographer is just starting her business, and the amount of time she's figuring for pictures seems a long to me (1.5 -2 hrs for pre-ceremony and 1+ hrs for post-ceremony). We do not have a large wedding party (2 on FI's side, 1 on mine, and a ring bearer), and we have not discussed traveling to other locations for pictures. Thanks!

    We had a photos taken while we were getting ready - so that easily took almost 2 hours. We also did about 2 hours following the ceremony at the church and another location. To me her timing sounds right on, but we did have a much bigger bridal party. You could probably figure on 45-60 for each. Better to have extra time than to be rushed!

    It's not just the bridal party pics, it's also all the family group pics. But if you;re not having those, then it doesn't matter.

    You won't believe how much time it takes until you are there that day.  My photographer UNDER budgeted for time, and when I look back I'm like aw man!  We didn't even get a shot of the groom with his Grandma or Grandpa!
