Things you liked/didn't like about your photographers

I was just curious as to the experiences other couples had with their photographers. Was your experience all that you had hoped for? Was there something that your photographer did that you wished you could have changed? Did you love your wedding photos?

I think for photographers, research is really key.  You'll be looking at those photographs for life. You really need to browse their portfolios, make sure the photos they capture are of similar style and tyoe to what you're looking for and that they have experience.  And remember, you often get what you pay for.

Was your experience all that you had hoped for?  Yes.

Was there something that your photographer did that you wished you could have changed?  The only thing I would change is that I would have scoped out a location for us to take our wedding party photos outside.  Whenever I see outdoor bridal party photos, I'm always a little bit sad.  My photog scrapped our original outdoor location at the last minute, but when she asked me, I told her to do whatever she thought was best.  So it wasn't her fault, I just wished I would have taken the time to insist on it/have another location in mind, etc.

Did you love your wedding photos?  Yes.  Even our wedding party photos are great.

I did research my photographer and gave her info about our families as well as who I wanted pictures of. I don't know why I bothered. I hardly have any pictures of our siblings an his mother. Many shots are blurry. Oops...she must have accidentally left the camera on manual instead of auto. She came recommend , was very nice, but are pictures are horrible and sparse.
