two different photographers?

Hi Ladies!I  I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this...my FI and I live in MA but got engaged in Vegas and love it there!  I thought it would be a lot of fun to do our e-shoot on the strip.  I can't imagine that it would make sense financially to pay a photographer out here travel expenses, but I know people say that the e-shoot is a good time to get to know your wedding photographer.  Anyone ever use a different photographer for e-shoot and wedding?  Is it ok to do that?  TIA!

It has certainly been done--sometimes the photographer used for E-pics isn't available on the couple's wedding day.  I've seen that situation before. I do think it's a good idea to use the same photographer, but it's also not the end of the world.

If you pick a known pro for each shoot, you shouldn't have any problems!  "Getting to know the photographer" is a little over rated in my opinion.  A professional will do professional work!  It's nice to get to meet and know the couple first, but isn't necessary at all!  Congrats!
