Wishing Well Themes

Hi Everyone,

My friend is getting married in August and her mom is in the process of planning her Bridal Shower. Her mom asked me to help her come up with some ideas for a Wishing Well Theme.  What are some wishing well themes you have seen or know of?

Thanks for you help,
Jen

You mean like kitchen gadgets?  Small items that all get thrown in the "well"?

It's just as quotequeen said- a decorative wishing well-shaped basket for small "extras" for the bride and groom.  See picture:

Most of the wishing wells I've seen have been for kitchen gadgets, because those are usually $10 and under and the couple registers for a wide variety (serving spoons, cork screws, oven mits, etc...).  You can do a baking theme, with baking-specific kitchen gadgets.  I have a friend who did a "romance/feminine" theme, and people brought things like slippers, compact mirrors, lotions, silk sleeping masks, bubble baths, etc...  I also saw a "new home" wishing well, which included things like small tools (hammers and screw drivers), measuring tapes, nails and screws, paint brushes, sponges, etc...
