Wear white to bridal shower?

Are brides supposed to or not supposed to wear white to their bridal shower? Does it matter? I can't find any info on this.

Ditto pp's wear whatever you want! I wore white to mine, but I wasn't going to. I happened to find a dress I liked that was white.

I agree with PP wear what you like and if you do find a white dress you like, its always cute when the bride wears white
