Bridal Shower Favor Recommendations?

I'm looking for some suggestions on a bridal shower we are putting together.  We expect about a dozen attendees, and we are holding it at a salon so we can all get mani-pedis together with the bride.  Most of us are travelling in from out of town and trying to plan from afar.  Any suggestions for a 'party favor' for the attendees?   Must be easy to travel with, not too expensive, etc.  Someone suggested EOS lip balm.  I don't know anything about that :-)

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the input.  I actually agree, but one of the other maids thinks we need it.  Let me see what we can work out!

since you're doing mani/pedis...maybe something that fits into that theme? like a bottle of nail polish and a mini nail grooming kit?  otherwise, I agree with the using the money for upgrading food/drinks.

You could even give polish in their wedding colors, so it will be something they can use while getting ready for the wedding, and adding a color scheme.

I was a MOH and we did favors for bridal shower... it was around 80 guests.

We did a little basket (got them at a party store) with a m&ms in the wedding colors, then a shower gel, lotion and travel loofah.  the Tag on the basket said "From (name of Bride)'s Shower to yours".  It was a HIT!  It was another BMs sugguestion, but it'd go with your theme too.

there were 2 sets of favors at my bridal shower. First, my grandmother crocheted a ton of hotpads in my wedding colors. She used different patterns and shades of the colors so each one was unique. We had so many that we encouraged guests to take multiple hot pads.

Second, someone special ordered M&Ms in my wedding colors. half of them said <bride's first name /> & <groom's first name>, and half had our wedding date on them. My mom's friend made hollow, hear-shaped chocolate boxes. Then someone (or multiple people) filled the boxes with M&Ms, bagged them in clear plastic, and tied the bags with ribbons in my wedding colors.

I should add the lotion and shower gel was the travel size too, so a buck reach from target...
