Bachelorette Party - No lingerie Wanted - Theme Ideas???

Hello -
I am the MOH,throwing a large bachelorette party....The bride does NOT want any lingerie.  I have been trying to think of a theme for the party to avoid that.  I thought of a Stock the Bar party but they received nearly all barware at the shower.

Any ideas would bre GREATLY appreciated.

TIA

What about a spa themed party? Or a wine themed party? A baking party ( if she likes to bake)?

Do you even need a theme? Most bachelorette parties I've been to are "She's getting married!"

But if you want to go with a theme, you could still go with stock the bar. They received all their barware at the shower, but did they receive mixers and alcohol to stock it with? A spa party sounds great too, everyone could bring different bubble baths, salts, candles, etc..

Always a fan of wine themed party.. you can never have too much wine stocked at the house. They have great pictures/artwork at Target and BBB they could hang up in their home that say "Wine Tasting" or "Vino". Someone could give her one of those rabbit wine bottle openers (we LOVE ours) and of course bottles of their favorite wines or bottles from local vineyards.

Are you sure you're not thinking of a shower? I've never been to a bachlorette party where people brought gifts for the bride, unless they were something silly/sexual. Usually it's a night with the girls, doing something, not another chance to give the bride more stuff.

If you're going to have a theme, maybe something where everyone could use what they're bringing? a spa party where everyone brings stuff and you have a night of facials/pedicures/pampering together.  or a 'movie night' to stock her DVD collection and watch a bunch of movies together. I would still think something where there's more going on than just another kind of shower would be fun.

I would be kind of irked if I went to a bachelorette party that was themed around gifts. I mean, most bachelorettes it's expected to cover the bride's costs, so that PLUS a dictated gift would be a bit much.

I don't know if you have had the party yet but without knowin the bride personally, if she is having a honeymoon that can be a great theme and offers many useful gift ideas. For example, a beach area honeymoon has a ton of great gift options (bride/groom towels, flip flops, suntan lotion, sunhat, tote bags, etc.) AND very easy to find party decorations for a beach theme that ties in nicely! Hope this is helpful : )
