Okay this is probably a silly question, but when do you send out thankyous?

My mom & MIL are throwing me a shower in May. Do I send thankyous out right after the shower? People will probably give us cards at the wedding as well, do I send a thankyou out then too?

    I always think thank yous should go out quickly. You do not need to send them for cards unless there is money in them.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
