Vegas themed shower??

My best friend was going to get married in Vegas, but things fell through.  Some of her friends and I will be throwing her a shower and someone suggested a Vegas themed shower.  Any ideas for decor, food, games, etc?

All you can eat buffets are popular at casinos...You could set up a mini buffet-style meal with some of the bride's favorites.

If the group enjoys games, you could set up a "gaming table" as a focal point and invite guests to bring their favorite board/card games to play (I went to a very relaxed bach party, we played apples to apples and talked, it was perfect for the guests' personalities).  

Search for slot machine candy dispensers--I know M&Ms have a model and I saw one for jelly beans the other day.  They're decorative, fairly cheap, and guests can help themselves to the candy throughout the night.  If you do end up playing poker or other betting games, the guest with the most chips could take home the candy dispenser as her "winnings."  (I've also seen people bet with candy in poker)

Yes! Red, white, black! Birthday direct has a really cute poker theme. Have a cocktail bar or mocktail bar and a buffet. Play regular shower games or play cards. So fun.
