After speaking to my venue yesterday, it turns out we won't be able to get into the reception venue to start decorating until 7pm the night before. Our reception room will be utilized until that point; but our ceremony location (at the same venue) will be available for the rehearsal at any time that day.
I was planning on holding the rehearsal around 6pm with dinner to immediately follow; however, now I'm wondering if I can do dinner at 6pm and rehearsal at 7pm; allowing my fiance and I to stick around after the rehearsal to start setting up.
Is this weird?
