Soooo NWR...

Disclaimer:  Mariah, I do hope this post is acceptable as I know I don't post regularly but I do visit alot and make comments here and there as an "old skool" knottie...hahaha!Smile

Some of you are probably thinking "WHO THE HECK IS THIS AND WHY IS SHE POSTING NWR STUFF ON OUR BOARD?"  Well other knotties on this board may remember me I was in the process of planning our wedding renewal event last year and was on the board religiously (it was bad y'all...LOL!) BUT I was side tracked with the planning of my DH's 40th b-day party for this March.  As strange as it seem, planning the b-day party has actually helped me out a great deal with planning our renewal event because I dealt with basically the same vendors (bakery, photog, venue, stationary, etc) a bride would deal with when planning a wedding.  N-E-whoooo, I started planning in Aug'09 and from everyone's reaction and statements - the party was a huge success!

There are several knotties I have to thank personally for helping me through my planning process:

Danyelle a.k.a. "MissJones09" (AAW Board) - CD cover for favors - as I've already said to you, the CD's were amazing and they were a hit with the guests; even though us knotties see these all day er'day from other knotties and think they are played out, that's not the case with our guests as long as you can personalize it and make it your own and Lady, you definitely worked your magic with my ideas.
Kim a.k.a. "KimandMike" (Dallas/Ft Worth board) - photog; Julian Race - Julian was the best!  He was prompt with his email communications; his rate was incredible; and he's fast with sending the DVD; thank you so much for providing a great review of his services when he did your Feb 12th wedding.
Stephie a.k.a. "StephieHall" (Dallas/Ft Worth board) - candy jars for candy buffet - I cannot thank you enough for being so kind as to selling all your candy jars to me back in January; the guests were truly excited about the candy buffet and acted like 12 yrs olds when the party ended and they made their goodie bags...LOL!
Katrina a.k.a. "TheKat", Michelle a.k.a. "Blue19"; Tanaya a.k.a. "LadySun" and my girl Chelle a.k.a. "MrClintonsBride09" (AAW Board) - individual knottie support - ladies I cannot thank you more than I have thanked y'all enough for all the convos and "polls" that have taken place to make this event as grand as it was; LOVE EACH OF Y'ALL TO DEATH!!!

Alright, enough words it's time for a few pics from the event...

Tootles!

denisecarmona - oh I wish I had good news for you dear but unfortunately I'm gonna keep my jars as they were originally purchased for our vow renewal event but I wanted to use them for DH's surprise party to just see how it would turn out...I have seen tons of jars lately at Marshall's and TJ Maxx and they have been priced really well, so I do HTH alittle...again I'm so sorry.
