Ladies only bridal shower but should the theme be only about the bride?

I'm throwing my sister a bridal party in November and I'm having a really tough time planning because I can't think of a motif. I was thinking of some of her interests and wonder if the party should just be about her interets or if I should think about a theme that reflects both the bride and the groom. It would be MUCH easier to do it about just her but I don't want to be tacky/rude, if the general rule is to include the grooms interests. This will be a ladies only party. Help! Thanks!!!

If the groom isn't there, I don't think I would include his interests.

According to your title, it's a ladies only shower, so I don't know why you should have to include the grooms interests. You could always use one of their shared interests though. Two birds with one stone.

Is this a BRIDAL shower?  Then it's about the Bride.  Is it a Couples Shower? Then do it for both.  And, I agree...if its all ladies-then why can't it be all about her?
