    I think it is a lot to ask for everyone to go to an OOT party.  She is feeling like it is uneven because her FI's friends are coming and most of hers are not.  I would not put myself in financial difficulty just to make it to a party.  Suggest that you do a night locally that everyone can make when they get back.

    Just be honest.  She should know that was a risk when she asked her WP to do this.

    Is it only people who want OOT weddings or bachelorettes that haven't heard about the economy?
