I have a sneaking suspicion that my sister is planning some kind of shower and/or bachelorette party for me (since she asked for a copy of my guest list and is currently interrogating me via email about the women on it). It's really sweet that she (presumably) wants to do something, but since this is my second wedding, I'm concerned that it's not really appropriate to have the traditional pre-wedding parties. Should I say something? I don't want to hurt her feelings or have her think I don't appreciate her enthusiasm.
