Rehearsal Brunch/Brunch for out of town guests?

Our pastor doesnt do rehearsals, he just shows up and then we get married. (i know, wierd).  Also, we're unable to do the rehearsal the evening before due to a wedding.  We are looking at doing it in the morning, the day before the ceremony, and having a rehearsal brunch.  Thoughts?
Also, are you supposed to have any kind of breakfast or get-together for out of town guests?  I've seen some mention of this, but am very unclear.  It kind of makes sense so guests haven't travelled so far just to see you for the wedding and that's it.  If you are supposed to have a pre-ceremony get-together, would it be bad form to invite the out of town guests to the rehearsal brunch, or should they be two seperate events?  I can see both sides where they didnt go to the rehearsal, but it seems wasteful to have two seperate events, too.  Please help!!  thank you!

First, inviting the OOT guests to a pre-wedding event is optional.
If you would like to host something for the OOT guests and the wedding party, you may combine the events.

That happened to one of my friends. There was a wedding at her venue on Friday, but they worked it out by doing rehearsal on a Thursday. However, nobody in the wedding party was OOT.

I had the same question about brunch for OOT guests the morning after. Our hotel doesn't do continental breakfast, and we really can't afford a brunch for everyone the next day. We'll either meet somewhere in the morning with everyone on their own tab, or just forego it altogether.

You aren't really 'supposed' to do any of it. If you have a rehearsal, you need to feed the people who have come to it, hence the rehearsal dinner. I'm not sure where inviting OOT guests cropped in from, but you certainly don't have to invite them to anything but the ceremony and reception. If you have the means, you're certainly welcome to, and some will very much appreciate it. If it's going to be the same day as the wedding, I certainly don't think it's necessary to have a separate brunch - and I'd be worried about timing! 

As for the after-festivities brunch, you certainly don't have to do anything at all if you don't have the means or don't want to! For my sister's, my parents just invited everybody over to the house and got a bunch of bagels and pastries from Panera, and the couple opened gifts. It was low key, not terribly expensive, and welcoming to the OOT guests.

Maybe just do something low key the night before if you want to include OOT guests, and then do a quick run through before the big show with just the BP?
