Rehearsal Dinner Attendance Formula -- for Thursday dinner

I've heard that rehearsal dinner attendance is generally 90% of the rehearsal dinner invite list, but I'm wondering what I should expect since we're having a Thursday night rehearsal dinner and a Friday wedding. I've heard that having a Friday wedding means more out-of-town guests might fly in late the night before or even the day of the wedding. Anyone face a simialr situation? We're not sure how many people to plan for. Thanks!

    Our RD is on Thursday and our wedding is Sat. RD will only include WP, significant others and immediate family so there will be no trouble of everyone getting there.

    I would simply ask a couple weeks before who is able to make it. I am sure most will be able to give u that much notice.

    If you're concerned with budgeting for it or finding space to accommodate your guests, assume that you'll have 100% attendance.  You don't want to invite 40, have the funds for 35, and have 39 people show up.
