Should you send invitations to the RD?

My mom sent out RD invitations for ours and it made things a lot easier since we had such a large wedding party. This way everyone had a card that said the date, time, and location with directions on it so we weren't getting a bunch of phone calls the day of asking what time and how to get there, etc..

I think she ordered them from Vista Print for pretty cheap since she had ordered my bridal shower invites from there previously.

I sent them out because my BM's mom is hosting it in her house but my mother is the host on the card (cooking) so we sent the rehearsal info with address and a dinner card that stated time along with three addresses people could park at. This was easier then tracking down 20 people to relay the info.

My sister-in-law and I created them ourselves with supplies from Michael's.  We did it for the same reason as summerkutie and not wanting to field all those questions.  All the information was right there for the rehearsal at the church as well as for the dinner afterwards.
