Bachelorette Party Attire

Ok, so I'm a girl who loves to wear a flirty little sundress (kinda sweet, kinda sexy).  I was told by a couple different people that you shouldn't wear a dress to a bachelorette party (it's in a couple weeks...we will be cruising the downtown bars and staying in a nice suite). Do I have to wear jeans or is a dress acceptable?  I'm worried about looking out of place at my own bachelorette party.

I wore jeans and a bachelorette tank to my b party.  Depending on what you're doing not wearing a dress is probably a smart thing.

Hmmm...I've never heard of that.  In my area most girls wear dresses (maybe not sundresses, but bar-type dresses) to the bacherlorette.

That's odd to me as I've never been to a bachelorette party where the girls weren't all in dresses. In my opinion, it's a celebration and it's time to dress up. It's your bachelorette party, if you want to dress up, then dress up!

I wear jeans or casual dresses whenever I go out any other time, I like to kick it up a notch for b-parties and look nicer than a normal night out. HTH!

Perhaps getting you to "ride a bull" is something your girls will try to gedt you to do?  Like on one of those list things...who knows.  I say wear what you feel comfortable in and if something is planned that requires jeans they should be upfront about it.

I bought some black sequin shorts from Express, and wore it with a nice strapless top.  All of my friends loved it!  Said they were perfect bachelorette shorts!
