I may be becoming a bridezilla…   My maid of honor had a family emergency.. so we reschedule the shower.. After over a week I finally had to ask WHEN we were rescheduling. Now it is rescheduled. They were planning on doing a bachelorette party when the bridesmaid’s were in town.. but now that isn’t the case. I was just told yesterday that they cannot figure out another date before the wedding (June) to have a bachelorette party.. Am I right to be pissed or just overreacting?

You can be disappointed, but if you're pissed, you're overreacting.  Bach parties and showers are not required.  They are gifts.  You may not be able to have a bach party because it had to be rescheduled because your MOH had a family emergency.

Be a friend.  Suck it up.  Her famlly emergency is more important than your bach party.

I think you are overreacting. I'm not going to fault for that, but you need to look at the bigger picture. Obviously things weren't postponed because of a frivolous reason, your MOH had a family emergency. That is always going to be more important than a party.

Also, showers and b-parties are gifts that people give to you if they have the time or the money. If everyone can't get together then unfortunately you may just not have the b-party. It sucks, but it is what it is. You could still get together with your girls and just have a night out (or in) and not call it a b-party. Some people still may not be able to make it, but that happens all the time because of the busy schedules people have. Just try not to be too upset about all of this.

Yes, you are over reacting a bit.  I always believe in family first, since wedding and family go hand-in-hand.

But the other brides' maids should have been kind enough to taken care of the plans when the MOH is unable to do so.
