Fitted T's for Bachelorette?

I'm planning a my best friend's bachelorette party. We're going bar hopping in StL.

Do you think that fitted t's for the girls are a good idea?

I was thinking they would be fun and a good way for us to all find each other when we're ready to hop to the next bar.

What do you think? Pros/Cons?

Some people might not want to wear them. It sounds like a cute idea but the fit will be different for everyone. Depending on height and body shape a fitted shirt needs to be cut differently. I am short waisted and I have a hard time with most cuts of t-shirt. My shoulders are really small too which doesn't help. When people go out they usually want to look their best so controlling what they wear could be problematic.

Maybe deciding on a coloured lei to wear, a necklace, or a colour theme but I would think everything should be optional because telling people what to wear could be an issue for some people.

I went to one where everyone wore pink. Most people followed the dress code and it was fun. It just depends on the people you are with. This one suggested to people to wear the brides favourite colour but it wasn't required. I liked it.

I'm honestly not a fan of telling people how to dress for a party, especially t's for a bachelorette party. All the bachelorette parties I've been to, the girls are all dressed up in cocktail/party dresses or LBD's ready to party the night away. It's a celebration of the bride, you girls should be dressed up.

As pp mentioned, some may follow it (even if they're not happy about it deep down inside) and others won't follow it at all.

Talk to the girls and see who's in.  Make sure they know it's optional.  You could always have a shirt making night.  Everyone brings a shirt (maybe a specific color?) and someone brings in supplies from a craft store and everyone can decorate their shirt the way they like.

Craft stores have fun letters you can iron on and rhinestone embellishments if that's your thing.  We did this for a b-party (I didn't partake, just the WP) and the girls looked really cute!

I'd pass on the fitted t's. Fitted T's always look terrible on me (whereas plain one always seen to fall well, go figure).

I just had my bachelorette and my MOH made everyone sashes that said "bachelorette party" and mine was a different color that said "bride to be." I thought it would be odd at first but it was actually a TON of fun. We had random people on the subway talking to us, asking what "pagent" we were with, etc. Sashes I felt were better because that way you don't have to offend anyone or put anyone in an awkward situation by guessing their size. Too each their own though, good luck!

I don't like fitted tees either.  They're usually cut shorter so I don't like how they look on me.  I would skip them and save the $$.
