Multiple bridal showers, when to bring gift?

I'm the MOH for my friend's wedding. Her aunt is throwing her a bridal shower in my friend's home town. I will be throwing the couple a shower where they currently live.
I plan to go to both showers, and I know I don't have to give a gift at each shower. So the question is, when should I bring my gift? Do I bring a gift to the bridal shower I am hosting? Or do I bring my gift to the bridal shower I'm attending?

I would actually give it at the one you were invited to. Sometimes it can feel awkward showing up to a party without a gift, even if you have a valid reason not to. I think you would be less likely to feel that way at the party you are hosting.
