Pre-wedding Parties

Do any of you know....?

Of any plans for your bachelorette party? Have the girls in your WP voiced anything to you or asked your opinion on what you like and don't like? I honestly don't think my sister (MOH) is planning anything at the moment. I know more about my FI's bachelor party than I do my own. His brother (BM) is always talking about it. What they're going to do, who's all invited. I already know they're going to have a blast. I know I'm not in any way entitled to any party but I'm feeling a bit left out on the fun.

There are exceptions of course, but usually the B-party--if there is one--is 1-4 weeks before the wedding, and they don't need more than a month or two to plan. I think it is way, way too early to be wondering about what your sister might be planning for you.

I kind of have an idea of what my girls are planning for me.  They have asked some "do's and don'ts" IF I had a say in it.  I guess if you want to be part of the planning you could ask, but I wouldn't.  Plus, it would spoil the fun.

I knew about mine, and knew about it a few months before since my MOH and DH's BM had to book a party bus and ask us who we'd like to be included and which casino we wanted to go to in CT. (A choice between Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods/MGM Grand.)

Most of my friend's b-parties are planned about a month ahead of time unless it's a destination b-party, so I wouldn't worry if you haven't heard of any plans yet, you've still got 6 months to go! :0)

My party has been planned with me and my maid of honor. We came up with the details together to make sure I wouldn't hate it. (Plus we have to go somewhere that minors are allowed since I have minors in the bridal party and most of my friends are still minors)

I know about mine and had to give my girl a list of email addresses for the evite and she asked me what I'd like to do and where I'd like to go. Maybe you could mention it to your MOH and tell her how excited you are to get to spend time with your best girls at your bach party even though you know it's still a little while away. Smile
