Cost for appraising ring?

How much did you pay to get your ring appraised? We went to the jewelry store where my ring was purchased from yesterday and was thode the cost was $75 for having the ring appraised. How much did you pay and/or where did you get an appraisal from?

I got mine done from Jareds and that sounds about right...it was around $75

We got ours done at Jared's too.  I don't remember how much we paid--it may have been free but we could only bring in one piece at a time and it was only available to Jared's customers.  Bill was very happy with the appraisal that they did.
