Usually showers are a month to 1.5 months before wedding date

Smile, can I just say that your dog is SO adorable! :-)   And I have nothing constructive to add to your post (Sorry!)  because I'm in a bridal-shower pickle myself. Hopefully I can get some good feedback from other knotties on my post.

Ditto pp's usually it's about 4-6 weeks before the wedding, but I've seen anything from 2 weeks out to a few months out. As RetreadBride said, since it's in the 3 month window it's fine.

Mine was 5 weeks before the wedding, and then the bachelorette was 2 weeks later which was 3 weeks before the wedding.

yes I'm gettin gmarried April 9th and my showers will be in late Feb to early march.  I think two weeks before is kinda in the middle of the stress but it will work out just fine.  Who cares as long as they throw you one!  Enjoy the day to relax and get excited. :)..I'm really excited for mine.

  • Lil advice? I have one person organizing the shower and a different person doing the bach party. how far apart should those 2 events be from each other so people don't feel the need to travel twice...

    thanks!

If I were you, I would make a new post asking this question. This thread is over 2 years old and is likely not to be read by a lot of people.

What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
