Co-ed wedding showers

Hello all!
I apologize if this has been dscussed I have tried searching for a post of this topic but didn't have any luck.

My sister has already said she was going to do a shower for fiance and I.  She has asked for ideas.  I would really like to do a co-ed shower.  Unfortunately I have never gone to one of these and am looking for ideas on themes and what information to pass on to my sister about this type of shower.  She is younger than I am and it's her first time being involved in a wedding, she is my MOH.  I would like to give her as much information as necessary so her decision making will be easy and she knows what is typical and what is optional.  Are there any good websites that I could forward her to for more information as well.

We had ours last night. It was a blast! My future MIL and SIL hosted, and they made posters of each destination on our honeymoon cruise and hung them all around the house. It was a surprise, I thought we were just going to dinner with his parents! There were a lot of people there. It was kind of like a family party, there was a buffet and the football game was on. Everyone was talking and everyone had a good time.

We're just having ours in the party area at our local bowling alley...  Having pizza and beer and then doing moonlight bowling after   IMO you don't really need a theme for a co-ed shower, including guys in the picture pretty much throws the typical bridal shower traditions out the window anyways

This.

There was a co-ed family shower for FSIL this summer.  It was basically a big family picnic.  I'm sure it was expensive, because there were a lot of people there and they had beer and crabs, but it could just as easily have been a backyard BBQ with a smaller crowd.
