Prizes for Bridal Shower games?

We are having some low-key games for the Bridal Shower (memorize the items on the tray, bridal bingo, safety-pin game, etc.)  We have put together a few prize baskets that include loofahs, lotion, shower gel, nail polish, and some nice chocolates.

However, a couple of the guests are allergic to scented lotions/perfumes, and one is allergic to chocolate.  Do you have any suggestions for prizes/small gift baskets that does not include edibles or bath goodies?  Thank you!

The showers I have always gone to had prizes that were intended to be given to the bride regardless of who won.

Sorry, that isn't much help. Could you do wine, some type of candy or snack specific to your location?

I think as long as there aren't individuals allergic to the whole basket, you're fine, they'll eat the chocolate but not use the lotion, or vise versa.

RKnox---I have never heard of "forfeiting" all prizes over to the bride....that is interesting...

Non-allergy inducing prize ideas could include notepads, notecards, pens, markers,  small giftcards for coffee, small candy dish, bouquet of flowers, hair accessories, gardening tools/seeds....

What about inexpensive picture frames? Sometimes you can get them at Target, TX Maxx, etc.

Maybe it is just the norm in my area. It is done at baby showers too. Yesterday, at a bridal shower I went to I won the bingo game and my prize was the pot holders off the bride's registry, so obviously that was to go back to the bride.

I have never been to a shower that actually had prizes for guests but it is a nice idea :)

I've never heard of prizes going to the bride, either. I hate shower games, so if I was forced to participate in them, I damned well better get to keep my prize!  Haha!

    <div>Haha ditto this 100% </div><div>
</div><div>There were a few games at my shower and the prizes were teapots and teacups with flower arrangements in them since my shower was a Mad Hatter Tea Party. </div><div>
</div><div>Another shower I went to a few months after mine, the prizes were painted wine glasses with palm tress and beaches on them since the theme of the shower was where the couple was going on their honeymoon. I thought they were cute, and I still have my wine glass for winning the "toilet paper wedding dress" game. Gosh, since I had to go through that, I'm glad I got to keep the prize! Haha</div>
