Bridal Shower Menu

Hi, Ladies! I am hosting a bridal shower for my sister in the beginning of August and I was hoping to get some input on the menu. It will be a small shower (maybe 10-15 people) and I'm hosting the shower at my house. I am planning to do a brunch shower at around 11am or noon on a Saturday. So far, this is what I have come up with for food:

Fruit kabobs
Muffins/Bagels/Danish
French Toast
Chicken salad sandwiches
Vegetable tray with hummus
Deviled eggs
Coffee, tea, and juice
Mini cakes (instead of 1 big cake)
Chocolate dipped strawberries
Mimosas

I'm doing chambord truffles as favors. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Your menu sounds delicious.  Our family loves to host brunches because they are so versatile and budget friendly.

The only other thing we have added in the past is a yogurt parfait bar.  We added some smaller berry type fruits, walnuts, and granola as "sides" for people to "make their own" parfaits.
  • That sounds perfect.

  • That looks a lot like my family's usual for luncheon showers of 40 people (without the more breakfasty stuff). I'd even say if you wanted to cut back on something, you could - like chicken salad sandwiches or french toast instead of both - but hey, if you have the budget, I say go for it!
