Paying for the Rehersal Dinner

My fiance and I were trying to figure out the budget for everything, and we were talking about the rehersal dinner and who we are suppose to pay for (since we are paying for the dinner).
Anyone know? I know we pay for the bridal party and there "guest" but what about the rest.
For example, my sister whom is also my MOH, I know I would pay for her and her husband and their daughter is my flower girl but they have three other children, IF they were to attend the dinner do we pay for them as well??

You have to pay for everyone at the rehearsal dinner, it doesn't have to be fancy but it does have to be paid for.

You are responsible to pay for everyone who you invite to the rehearsal dinner.

Ditto PPs.  You would never pick up the tab for just a few of your guests at the RD.  Anyone invited is hosted.  And you need to invite anyone required to be at the rehearsal that isn't paid plus their SOs or parents.  Generally that's your parents, siblings, wedding party, and readers.

Yea because I tallied it up and realized we'd be paying for at least 30 people...and my Fiance and I are alreadypaying for the entire wedding.

You could DIY with something like big trays of lasagna too.

Yes, you do need to prepared to "host" everyone invited. But it's perfectly fine to do something laid back like PPs have suggested: pizzas, lazangas, maybe even soup & sandwich platters, etc.

Make a huge batch of chili and some salad and buns and have it at your place.  It doesn't have to be expensive.

The groom's parents host the RD unless they are deceased or not supportive of the marriage and will not be attending.  And yes, the contract covers all the RD guests being paid for by the hosts of the dinner.
