PLEASE HELP!! Hosting a bridal shower this SATURDAY!!!

I am the Matron of Honor and the hostess of my best friend's shower.  The problem is that I have NO idea how to even begin the shower! What I mean is that once everyone arrives, how do I get things started? I was thinking I would first thank everyone for coming and then introduce everyone in the bridal party and the parents.  Do I then just start into the games? Do I need to say anything else? My wedding was 5 years ago and I can't for the life of me remember how they opened my shower! Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you so much!!!!

This read as though you are having it in a private home so I'll go with that... 

When they come in offer them a drink (a little alcohol to break the ice!), have snacks out etc. People will naturally mingle etc. After everyone arrives, you can thank everyone for coming and give a little toast. Continue to mingle, introduce games when the time seems right- probably in between courses and after your meal, start the gift opening

Relax it will all work itself out naturally and it will be great.

I agree with BrambleBerry.  Things will work out just fine.  Don't plan too much.  Let everyone arrive, do your introductions/toast and then let everyone eat.  Do some games while they are eating/directly afterwards.  Then have a cake/dessert and do the gifts.  Most people that are coming (usually) have been to a few of these before.  They know how its going to work.  It will all work out beautifully.  Relax, and have a blast!

Thanks Ladies!!! It's actually being held at a restaurant.  I just wasn't sure how much I needed to say before we started into the games! thanks so much for the great advice!
