when would it be best to have my bridal shower wedding February 20,2011

I am getting married on February 20,2011. Since these next few months are super busy with the holidays when should I have my bridal shower? people have told me it is best to have it 2 to 3 months before the wedding and if that is the case that would be nov or dec?

Showers are usually in the last 4 - 6 weeks before the wedding.

I'd have a shower in January.

Don't throw a shower for yourself, just an fyi.

We're getting married on 2-19 and my bridal shower and bachelorette party are on 1-8.

My wedding is February 19. It depends on the schedule of the person throwing the bridal shower. One of my bridesmaids is graduating in December and wants to plan one before she leaves town so we're having it Dec 10. My mom's friend wants to host one too and that'll be after the holidays in January.

I would def say the beginning of january or beginning of decemeber before the craziness starts!

Joy is right = showers are held within a 6-week window prior to the event. Your shower wuold be in January or early Feb.

We have the same wedding date 2/20 :-) I am having my bach party on 1/15 weekend and then 29th for FH Moms waco couple shower and 30 for Dallas girls shower! Good luck
