so last night my future in-laws hosted my fiance and I's engagement party and it was such a success! It was so nice for both of our families and numerous different friends and bridal party to all finally meet and enjoy a WONDERFUL meal and soooo many delicious desserts. I was so nervous all day about things not running smoothly and it really all turned out so wonderful. I cannot wait for 2013 to get here now so we can finally have the wedding! Have any of you ladies celebrated your engagement recently?

    Thats so nice! Glad it went so smoothly :) We opted not to have an engagement party because my FI hates being the center of attention (not sure how he'll handle a wedding!! lol). But anyway congratulations :)

    thanks ladies!! now am i not only suffering from a major food coma from all the food i ate at the party (and leftovers this morning lol), I now have carrpel tunnel from all these thank you cards!! lol So worth it though! Thanks again!! 

    FYI- I got a super good deal on adorable thank you cards!! The premium outlets have a vera bradley store that not only had blank beautiful cards for a minimal fraction of the original price, but because of the holidays they were all an extra 25% off and they sent me a free $20 gift card for my birthday in the mail!!! 36 cards and matching envelopes for $2!!! Major steal!!!!!
