I finally have more to contribute now that we're 2 months out! (OMGWTFHOLYCOW2MONTHS?!)

First, I found out that it is a SMALL world! I was talking with my DJ to try to work out a way to pay him since he is pretty expensive and he told me to look into some less expensive DJs that work for HIS company called LeForce. My DJ owns LeForce with Glenn! I can't believe I've been friends with him for a few years & we have been talking about Glenn and LeForce here for awhile and I never realized they were connected. I'm pretty excited to know that even though I'll have to go with someone else that they have to be awesome to be working for my friend and Glenn.

Second. I decided not to go through & write numbers on all of the RSVPs because that would have been a huge PITA. I did have a spots that specifically says "Names ___________" instead of the confusing M______ line, and I still got back an RSVP that just has a one on it. Really? Really?!

Other than that, things are going pretty smoothly. I'm working a ton to try to pay for everything so I'm not able to be on here as much, but I do read everything when I have free time in the middle of the night at work. I hope everyone else's planning is going well!

Drinking lots of water to stay hydrated so I don't get heat sickness again at the Rangers game tonight! So excited for a good time with my FI, his best man, and my MOH

Since my school is brand-spankin-new, they are giving tours like every day to various important people in the district.  Every now and then a group wanders into my room, looks around, looks at me, then walks away.  They don't get in my way or anything, but it's still one of those weird moments where it's obvious they didn't expect anyone to be here.

If anyone is willing to send good vibes/thoughts/prayers my way today, I would really appreciate it.  I have my BioChem final today and if I don't get an 80 or above, I'm going to have to retake the class to get the B I need.  I will be devastated if I have to retake this course, and I could use all the good vibes I can get today.

Hope everyone is having a good day thus far...week is halfway over!

I got my first RSVPs in yesterday! 1 yes, 1 no. Also, my uncle made me crack up, he wrote "Sorry, I'll be in LAS VEGAS." You have to understand my uncle... so him. But, I need to get my guest list down so it was good news!

So I am a former orientation leader for my university.  I got a msg asking me to join the FB group for the incoming freshman to help answer Qs.  I have come to realize just how old I am when someone asked what to wear for an 80's party.  They made the comment "How would I know, I was born in 1994"

I died a little on the inside thinking that the students entering college never experienced the greatness that was the 80s.

I think I still may have my pogs at my parents house! LOL  The company that made those was GENIUS.  I'm sure they made a lot of money of those things.  If I remember right, they were like 50 cents a piece for the generic ones and $1 for the hologram ones and like $5 for the slammers.  That's a lot of money being made off of little circles that probably cost 5 cents to make.

And by the way...I got an 85 as my final grade in BioChem!!!!!! (excessive puncuation is absolutely necessary here).  WOHOO!!!  Thank you to fhose who sent T&Ps my way...I know it helped.

Woohoo!!!

So, bit of sad news.  FI got laid off today, which sucks with the whole wedding thing looming.  Fortunately we've got pretty much all we need in savings, so I'm sure we'll be okay.  It's just pretty stressful.

Amanda, I am so sorry about your FI and his job.    I'm glad that y'all have been putting money into savings though and have the wedding covered and hopefully have a good chunk set aside for something like this as well.  Hopefully he'll be able to find something else soon.
