Outdoor Wedding in 3 weeks!

Ok, so am starting to freak out that it is going to be much warmer than originally planned for my Oct. 1 wedding in 23 days. The wedding is outside and starts at 6 and last until 11 p.m.

Should I be buying fans, etc? I have a lot of people coming from the Northeast and West coast and I don't think they'll be used to the heat.

Anybody else have an outdoor wedding soon? Anything I should plan for now?

I agree...the weather has been so nice lately that when I drive home around that time I am not even using the AC. If you wanted to go buy fans anyway, keep the receipt, just because I doubt you'll need them.

    good idea!

as long as you dont buy them TOO soon, you could even return them after your honeymoon :)

    receipts are your friend!

The weather has been nice lately, but if you want to make hand fans I don't see how it could hurt. My wedding is next Saturday and our ceremony is outside, but I am hoping it will be a little cooler around 6pm. I would think around Oct it would be cooling down enough though.

Jen ~ I think LBV has some fans?  Or maybe I'm thinking they're just on the top of the pergulas (sp?)?

IM getting married at the Dallas zoo in 7 days, I'm a little worried myself lol. But Im thinking by the first it will start cooling off much more than it is now. I wouldn't worry too much love. We can't control the weather. My ceremony is at 6pm and it will start to cool down when the sun goes down. Don't worry :]

LBV does have fans in both sections. Also, my wedding was October 2nd last year (basically the same as yours) and the weather we had was perfect. There was a slight breeze. We even had the 4 fire pits going and people were gathering around those. I think you'll be suprised at how much the weather will change and how much cooler it is now getting when the sun goes down. I wouldn't stress out by adding fans to your list of things to do.

Renee- Your wedding is the reason I picked October 7th for our new date. I remember the weather being PERFECT on your day!
