Wedding Video Transfer to DVD?

I got married in June and had Adam Kegg shoot my wedding. We paid $400 for the raw video, though when it arrived it was on the actual tapes, not DVDs as I had assumed (my fault for not reading the contract or asking him to clarify).

Anyway, he said he would transfer for $80, but I haven't heard from him in months and I imagine it would take a long time (he isn't the quickest vendor, though he is an awesome guy)

Our other option is to buy a video camera and transfer it ourselves.

Anybody know of anybody who can transfer the footage to DVD for us? My mother is on my tail to make sure that the video is good before our 1st anniversary

wolf camera does transfers, though i'm not sure how much they charge. also, adam and his wife just had a daughter a couple months ago, so that may be why he's so slow to respond. i don't know. i'm having the same issues with him responding to me, but i'm giving him an out!

ETA: my contract says this: Random Pictures Productions uses DVD-R as a final format that video is distributed with.  Some older DVD players, 

most manufactured before 2000, may have some difficulty playing this format.  It is the client’s responsibility to make 

sure this format is acceptable.  Random Pictures Productions can assist client in this research if needed.

Marissa, I think both CVS and Walgreens can do this for you.

I've also seen signs at Costco that they will do transfers.
