Centerpiece question

Hey ladies, weird question. Part of my centerpieces are using white birchwood logs and mercury glass. Do y'all think mixing tall clear vases would look weird with this? Just thought I'd get some opinions!

What are you putting in the vases?

I think if you filled it with something soft and pretty it would offset and compliment the birch and mercury which are both pretty substantial materials.
