Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

Need Advice...Fort Worth Wedding ceremony and reception venues??

I just got engaged and we have decided that FW will be our wedding location. My fiancé and I will have approx 250 guests and after researching for hours, it's slim Pickens based on my vision. I love the look of the YWCA but I read that it only fits 175 in the ballroom.

Any suggestions??? We'd like to marry outdoors or a beautiful historic looking building. Our family is out of state so we want to show off Texas' charm. We have a decent budget but still want to be conservative.
Thank you!!:)

How about the T&P station?  I've seen some lovely weddings there and I think it's pretty budget friendly.  Alot of brides use the Robert Carr chapel at TCU for the ceremony but I'm not sure how many it holds. There's also the Victory Arts Center.
  • I haven't posted in a few years, but saw this post & wanted to offer my 2cents. Have you looked at Bass Performance Hall. We got married there on the floor in btween the angels. It was beautiful.
  • For my wedding I'm thinking of having the ceremony at the Water Gardens (only $35 for 100 people!) and then hopping on over to the T&P station accross the street ($2,500 for an all day rental on a SATURDAY!) it holds 270 people.

If  you're willing to stray a little from Fort Worth, there's the Colleyville Center which rents for $1,800 I believe and it also has a outside ceremony location.

Not sure what your budget is so hopefully that helps some!
