I was going to do pictures and I have my photographer and I am really comfortable with her but she just had a baby last week so I have pushed that back to his christmas gift...that is why i am stuck on what to get now. We thought we would have time to get my photo shoot in before that baby came but he decieded it was time before my shoot so its not a big deal, and im not upset, and i would reather wait for her because i am just in-love with her work

I gave Bill a picture of two interlocking Aggie rings from Benjamin Knox.  Our years had been sketched in on the two rings. 

I know watches are popular along with b-pics.  However, I can't think of any thing else.

I'm thinking I might get FI an iPod touch, and possibly have it engraved with a message and our wedding date. He's currently using his sister's hand me down iPod classic.

Im getting him a really nice beer stein (the kind that has a top that flips open to drink from) because he got all the groomsmen engraved beer mugs.  This way they all have something cool to drink from at the reception.

Im also considering getting him a beer of the month club to go along with it.

We decided not to do gifts. The wedding, and HM are our gifts to each other. I can't think of anything material that I could give him, that would be more significant than becoming his wife on that day.

What I am going to do though, is give him a letter with the vows I wrote for him that we were going to use in the ceremony, but then decided this past week that we weren't going to use our own vows because FI isn't comfortable speaking in public and I don't want to make him uncomfortable. So, instead, since I had already written mine I'm going to put them in a frame and give them to him.

Im with NMac....we aren't doing gifts. It is just added stress when we are already spending a crapload on the wedding and honeymoon

Spend that money on your wedding, honeymoon or stock it away for an AWESOME one year (married) anniversary present!

We weren't supposed to get each other gifts...bbbuuutttt it sort of just happened anyway. I had bought him some new clothes to wear on our HM and gave them to him the day before our wedding. I also wrote him a note that my MOH delivered with our rings right before the ceremony. She came back with a Coach purse with a note inside from him...lil turd wasn't supposed to spend that much money - but I'm not complaining! lol
I think the best gift you could give is to become his wife - but letting him know exactly how you are feeling in the moments leading up to that moment with a note is amazing! Definitely some tears - and great pics!

I bought FI custome cuff links and a beer schooner with his fraternity letters on it.

We agreed no gifts also.  But I surprised Ben the day of the weddng with a bottle of his favorite scotch and 3 shot glasses so he and his groomsmen could have a toast.  I also gave him a handwritten note.

I bought him a college banner from our school and had it customized with our class year on it.  (It was something he always wanted, but couldn't justify getting for himself.)  Not sure if it counts since I didn't pick it out, but he got a beer boot with his name engraved on it, which is what we got the groomsmen.

I'm trying to think of other successful gifts I've given him in the past (since it doesn't have to be wedding related necessarily)...  iPod was a good one.  TV as well.  DH brags about the bottle of scotch we got his dad for Christmas last year, so I think stephiehall's suggestion is a good one.
