So, I was going to go with a Sue Wong for the upcoming civil ceremony and was waiting a bit to get it because it was coming from Neimans and I knew I could get it right away and I just had to put the deposit on the other dress.
When I got home today and checked my email, Hautelook was having a sale on Sue Wong dresses so I thought I'd take a look and see if there was something similar for less. I hit the jackpot and found one FI and I both love for $155! I had a very bridezilla moment trying to buy the blasted thing because we have satellite internet (downside of living in the boonies) and it picked right then to be wonky and they were all selling out quickly and I was afraid I would miss it in my size.
We had stopped into Neimans earlier today to try on a couple Sue Wongs to see what size I would wear since the dress I originally wanted was available online only and I'm so glad I did because I would have been way off. Having just had my measurements done at the bridal shop helped, too.
It's similar to the one I wanted orginially, but it's more like my big wedding dress in the feel and the all over lace and FI likes it better. I'm going to see about having it changed to a sweetheart neckline.
