  • I have never heard of City Kitchen catering.. but maybe someone else here has.

I have had CN Catering multiple times and LOVE their food. Seriously, the best wedding food I have ever had. Lance does a great job and is very inventive with his menus.

I think another knottie has used Jim Lee Events, maybe she will chime in.
  • I didn't meet with City Kitchen personally, but I met them at a bridal show and they seemed nice. My mom's company uses them for a LOT of stuff and she said that as far as she could tell, they've always been great. They ended up being quite a bit more than I was hoping to pay though.

Personally, I'm using TCP Catering. They were seriously the most bang for my buck that I could find...budget-friendly and great food. Yes, they own a fast-food chicken place but their catering is completely different and is more of fine dining type of food.

  • I didn't find any past Knottie reviews for City Kitchen.

The two I found for CN Catering were a B and B-.  The food was great in both reviews (although one bride said not as good as at the tasting), but in both reviews it was communication that was the issue.

The same is true for the one B+ review I found for Jim Lee--great food, poor communication.

Thanks everyone! I had a call with Brandi at City Kitchen today and she was awesome. She definitely spent a lot of time understanding my vision and likes an dislikes. I am going to do a tasting for both City and CN, and then make a decision. I'll let you know what we decide!
  • We use them at my job alot and they are great!!!! The food is great, they set up, serve, clean up etc........highly recommend.
