    A HOUSE!!!

That's all I really WANT... we got sooo much stuff at the wedding I don't really want anything else.   I need a new CHI and a new hairdryer....but that's really not so exciting.

I want a Roomba and a new kitchen sink!  Practical I know, but they would make my life so much easier!!!  For fun stuff I want new black boots and a new digital camera.

I want to go to Hot Springs, take a bath and get a massage.

Since we are saving for the wedding and considering the honeymoon our christmas all I really want is to just have a nice peaceful holiday.  My previous job made the month before christmas absolute HELL and this year it should be much better so we can just enjoy the time of year.  Today there was a groupon for a Dallas holiday lights and city tour, $47.00 for two people.  SInce FI and I are new to town I think we might buy this and do it the week before christmas.

Do I really have to be practical??  LOL  I don't think we're going to do much bc of wedding/hm, but I'd be happy just to have my stocking filled with goodies!
If we end up doing presents I'd like some sperrys, boots, fleece Northface jacket and a Coach bag!

My FI to come home. But since he can't I asked for a new digital camera and a flatiron that works better than my CHI

Cirque du Soleil tix (James said we could just go online and buy them and that be our present to each other, because he wouldn't know the first thing about buying them and surprising me - boooo-riiiinnngggg.)
A Kindle (if you have thoughts on Kindle vs. Nook, I'd love to hear them!)
Stuff off our registry... we didnt get any towels! And there are a few other things on there I'd really like.... like more silverware.  We got two sets of 4, but I'd like to have 3-4 sets total, and the matching serving pieces.

Reality, only thing I really need is another jewlrey tower. I got tons of accessories!

But non reality-someone to pay for the wedding, or FI wins lotto and pays for it (he's good at winning off scratchoffs)...and a house.

We probably won't be doing gifts for each other because of the wedding/honeymoon.  I'm getting to the point that I am so ready for the wedding to be here just so we can get our disposable income back...which of course will just start going towards a house down payment.  If Santa wanted to drop a couple grand my way that would be great!

I forgot I want one too!! if you read reviews (which is all I've was doing for a while) the Kindle is better! It has better Price versus Value. It lasts longer and apparently customers prefer it.
If you want the Nook it is going on sale BF for $99 at best buy. I refuse to shop that day but you are doing it!!

I got my mom a Kindle for Christmas. The guy at Best Buy told me out of the Kindle, Nook and a Sony eReader, the Kindle is probably the most user friendly

I have a Sony Reader and I love it. My friend has a Kindle and she loves it. I think either is probably a safe bet.

I like the Sony because you are not locked to buying things from Amazon; it supports books of many platforms, not just the Kindle platform. There are a lot of good deals out there if you buy from other e-book retailers. You can even download books from libraries.

The downfall of the Sony Reader is that the base models do not have wireless connectivity. This doesn't bother me as I consider it like my ipod - I just plug it into the computer and download books when I want them; but others may find it limiting.

    I don't know anyone with a Nook, so I can't help out there. :)

I'm having the hardest time trying to figure out what to ask for...just like every year and my birthdays. Since I don't want or need much, I'll go with the unrealistic. A new car, house, and a new father for my son (or his father just not in the picture at all), a college degree and job just handed over to me, and a few grand for my wedding so we don't have to save much (we're looking at keeping it under 10 grand).

I want an I-phone but I probably won't get it.  Since we just remodeled, we agreed to keep it small this year.  I told Ben if I could have the carpets and couch professionally cleaned I'd be happy with that actually.

Ooooh, maybe I should ask for my carpets to be cleaned too.... we have the most awful, almost-white carpet.  Mix that with a husband who is a contractor (aka, dirty boy every evening), a fluffy dog that is very close to the ground (aka, also a dirty boy pretty frequently), and black clay... and I have some serious stains.  Mix in my OCD with all that, and sit back and watch :)

I love my Kindle! And, you can actually upload PDFs to it, so if you want a book that's not available on Amazon, find it as a PDF and you're good to go.  :)

I really *want* a new pair of boots (some of those brown riding boots... drool...) and gift cards to BB&B so I can get the rest of the stuff we registered for. I *need* a new hairdryer and straightener, mine are crap. But, I'll be getting my plane ticket to Philadelphia in February for the national meeting of the Music Library Association from my parents, because I just don't have the spare cash, but I have to go. Courts & I keep our gifts to each other small, and I always let him pick what to get me rather than making a request, I think it's more fun.

I want an iPad but since I'm not working we don't have any extra money. Frown
I realllllly want a Tempurpedic bed, but that's not going to happen until after the wedding.
It'd be great if someone could pay off our bill from our appliances because our 0% interest deal ends next month. I can dream though.
