Outstanding To-do list items

I can't believe it's already the middle of June!

Just curious (and for fun - not to cause stress!):

What do you think is the biggest or most important item left on your to-do list?

Yesterday, I finalized our menu - and I feel like a burden has been lifted off my shoulders, but we still have quite a few items on the to-do list.  I guess the most important thing is getting the marriage license and FI's wedding ring.

Re: Outstanding To-do list items

  • What did you decide on for your menu? I love hearing what everyone will be having!

I think my most important to-do is to finalize the ceremony and make the programs. The escort cards are another big thing looming over my head. And I have a rough timeline, but I think I need a more detailed one.

I think I'm in a pretty good spot, though. It will all come together!

  • Getting our marriage license is probably the most important but we are doing that next Wednesday.  The 1 thing that I keep putting off is picking out 30 of our engagement pictures for our guest book.  To be honest with you I didn't even like 30 of them!!  We are supposed to have that done in a week.

I just ordered my BM necklaces/earrings off of etsy.  I need to pick up their gift cards and wine/chocolates as well.

  • I think my biggest item left to do is ceremony programs and day of time line. Thankfully I have the reception timeline done, but not the rest of the day really. I'm hoping to work on both tonight.

We're having a dinner buffet, and we decided on beef brisket, lemon pepper chicken, and pasta primavera (vegetarian), twice baked potato casserole, seasoned green beans, salad, and rolls, plus appetizers (spinach dip, fruit + dip, cheeseball and crackers, turkey pinwheels).

I have to finalize and make our programs too - but I've already made the mock-up, so I'm not too worried about that.  I guess I mostly worried about the things that both FI and I have to take care of together, b/c he's out of town for pretty much the rest of the month :-(
  • I guess the biggest thing i have left to do is finalize with vendors, get marriage license, and finish buying stuff for my BM and wrapping them

  • Most important is probably dress fitting, hair/make up trail.

  • One of the bigger to-do's on my list is confirm the # of hotel rooms booked and then figure out the shuttle, but I can't do that until the end of this month anyway.  I'm pretty ahead of schedule... for now at least....

Well our civil ceremony is the most important but we've been told it's done in approximately 72 hours. So we feel kinda relaxed about that. We still need to get our own alcohol, finish hand delivering our invites, get our bands, make escort cards, order a couple things online.... other things too but I'd say these are the most important.

My biggest to dos that I'm worried about are picking out the ceremony music and trying to figure out how it's being played (either with ipod/speakers which I'd have to buy, or having a friend borrow equipment from his dj friend), and making my ceremony programs. I made one to send to my priest, and it was kind of a hot mess. It looked very diy which I'm not happy about. I'm going to work really hard this week to get these to dos figured out.

[QUOTE]I think it's the newsletter. It's mostly done, but we have to finish it. FI's pants need to be hemmed, too. That's not going to take much, though. <strong>We're trying to figure out car titles right now. What a pain!
