My bridesmaids, mom and FMIL threw me an amazing shower yesterday. They also kept it mostly a secret from me. I had some suspicions but nothing confirmed until I drove up to the restaurant and saw my friend's car who is from out of state in the parking lot. She had about 20 rubber duckies in the back of her car so it's a distinguishable car. There was about 4050 women there and everyone was so generous. I think my favorite gifts are my kitchen aid mixer and 250 gift card for our honeymoon with our travel agent. Also two of my older cousins who are extremely crafty made us tons of Christmas ornaments, knitted stockings for Christmas, a homemade wedding album, and other directions. Funniest moment by far was my FI was helping to open gifts from my mom and he opened the box with the night of lingerie!!! He turned bright red and we got it all on camera. I will post pictures next weekend because my mom's friend is starting a photography business and took professional pictures to build her portfolio!
