Save the dates are here!! Now what...

So our save the dates just came! Yay!

I am going to print address labels for these (they are just postcards) and get the girls that live here to come help me stick them on (paying them with wine, of course hahaha).

Did any of you do postcards for you STD? Did you put stamps on them or did you just take them to te post office and have them do it/meter it? I that a possibility or am I making that up?

Thanks!

  • yay i just got mine today too, i got them off of snapfish with pics of our engagement session!!!!!! so exciting!!!!! mine arent postcards, they came with envelopes. im so not looking forward to all those stamps and putting the addresses on them lol....but i think i'll have my mom and sister help me!!
  • I did postcards!

I went to the self service machine in the lobby of the post office (must have been a Sunday).  II THOUGHT  I'd get real stamps from the machine, but they were little black and white coded stamps.

Not what I was going for but I just went with it and mailed them.

I only had 25 to mail however so they were easy to to by hand.

  • Congrats on getting in the STD's.  I would just go to the counter with one of them and ask for the postage at the counter.  It's probably standard and postal workers do not appreciate people just paying for postage for 75 items and having them do it.  If you go to the counter you can probably get some pretty wedding stamps.  I did that and they were no extra money.
