The Melrose is disputing my review on WW (along with the other 2 that weren't positive).  It really irks me because although I did have some complaints, I also had very positive things to say about it.  I just told the truth.  It makes me mad.  They should concentrate more on fixing their problems instead of wasting their time disputing 3 reviews on the internet.  And boo to WW also--they just took the review down and haven't even tried to contact me.

You should get an email here shortly asking for proof that they were your vendor.  After you send them proof, it's about 2 more weeks until they repost your review.

I have a few B&Ms.

1) FI told his family about our plans on moving early last week, they were pretty upset, but took it relatively well.  Until Friday night when he told his mom that we were in fact planning on moving when we go for the wedding--all hell broke loose.  She called FSIL and told her she isn't going to the wedding.  Immature, right?  While she's said nothing about that to FI, she's pretty hateful towards us right now.  Even his dad didn't say a word to me while we were over there Saturday.  Awwwkward.  I dont understand how they dont get this was a mutual decision on both our parts.  They are so self-involved.

2) FI is remodeling his grandparents bathroom.  His Gma is in the hospital so her brother, his wife and child are visiting and staying with his grandpa..which really sucks since the shower has been torn out.  So they have been coming over nightly to shower at our place---and these people don't leave!  It's so annoying, we hardly know them so it's weird enough..but shower and leave!  We work early and need to get to bed.  How I wish I could say that..

I had my final fitting this past Saturday and picked up my dress. I don't really like my bustle.

But, at this point, I'm just kind of like "whatever" about everything. It is what it is...I'm ready for the day to come, and go, and us to be married and enjoy a week at the beach!

Stephanie that sucks that they took your review down... what's the point of reviews if you can't be honest?

My coworkers son is 32 and engaged (after she hounded him to propose) and is currently in Vegas on vacation.  She has known he is going to Vegas for a few months now.  When she originally found out about Vegas (pre engagement) she hounded him seeing if they were eloping, she seriously went psycho for half a day freaking out.  They weren't eloping, he was just going on vacation with some buddies. 

She looks up his hotel, and again freaks because the hotel he is staying at offers a wedding package. This is VEGAS.  Every hotel/motel has something, even the clerk at 7-11 may be ordained...who knows!  "They should have told me because I would have gone to see them get married!"  FMILzilla on our hands. 

Long story short, her constant freak outs (not just this Vegas thing) are wearing me down.

Shortgirl it has been a couple of weeks already.  I haven't heard anything.  The event planner is gone so that will hopefully improve the hotel's reviews going forward.

shortgirl - hahaha!!   Seriously, even if he did get married there... I'm pretty sure that he would have invited her if he wanted her to be there.   Although, I'm sure she means well... it sounds like it might be a good idea if he did just go ahead and elope.  No one wants a FMILzilla.     

My B&M is that I have a final tonight.   That's all.

We ordered Domino's pizza last week and I used my debit/check card.  Even though they charge a delivery fee, I still tipped the kid.  The total was $19.99 so I made it an even $21.

I checked my bank account and noticed the charge for $22.  It's only a dollar, but it was the principal of the thing since the carbon copy I have clearly says $21.  Called the manager and he asked me to send him a pix message of the receipt and low and behold, the delivery guy was writing over the credit receipts to get more money in tips.

I'm glad I brought it to their attention because now they know that this kid was cheating customers and can deal with him.  We also got a couple free pizzas which was a nice bonus.

The guy we were hoping would marry us moved back to Lubbock.  Now we have no officiant and I procrastinated too long with this!

She doesn't even know if the girl is with him in the first place but she feels entitled to a lot of things.

Oh, and the people above me are (finally) moving out and are seriously getting on my nerves... pick up your stuff, don't just drag it down 3 flights of stairs thumping that dolly along the way.  I just hope whoever moves in next are not another pair of tuba players that practice at 11 pm at night on a week night.

Stephie- I would just email them asking what's up,  if you haven't already.  Or try reposting the review   The lady I dealt with was nice enough, just slow to respond.

After hearing about Stephie and shortgirl's experiences with WW, I'm kind of glad I didn't do anything with them.

Your experience takes me back to when Sonic stopped letting you add tips to the receipt due to the same reason.  I wonder how long before we have to bring cash with us all the time for tips due to a few dishonest people.

It is Monday and my B&M is that I only have two weeks left on this summer vacation.  Makes me sad.

stephie - yeah that's not right.  Especially since they have 3 bad reviews - obviously 3 separate people did not have a good experience.  Ridiculous.

llc2011 - Good luck with the neighbors.  That used to be my B&M all the time - until they moved out.  We have new neighbors above us now and while I do still hear he/she - it's much better than the last neighbors.  So, I hope you have the same luck.

I hate the USPS. Last night my mom told me that my grandma sent in her RSVP card as soon as she got the invitation. I have not recieved it and it definitely would have got here by now. So now I am wondering if other people have sent theirs in and theirs have gotten lost in the mail too.

I feel you on the loud neighbors llc2011!  My neighbor decided to start playing loud rap music at 12:45! It was so loud I could hear the LYRICS through the wall!  Ridiculous!

My other B&M for today is that we are finally getting our week of venue shopping planned out and FI just told me last night that he has yet to ask off work! We leave Sunday!  I could just go without him if all else fails, but A) I'm terrible at navigating to new places, I would really like to hear his opinion, and C) If he doesn't go, FMIL will offer to go and even though I love her, she shoots down every place we go to for some reason or the other.

Is it tuesday yet? It's definitely been a monday and I just got out of bed!

Prime example of why calling through the list of people that haven't RSVP'd (or maybe you just didn't receive it) is a great idea!

DH and I thought we were getting wireless internet with comcast and the dude who was setting it up said we hadn't signed up for it(which if you look at it, it is true). Now I am mad that someone told us the wrong information. So now I'm am about to get the longest internet cord I can find so I can use my computer on the couch.

Bridget - I don't know the dosage, but if a dog gets bitten by a snake, you can give them liquid Benadryl (the human kind).  My parents' dog has been bitten twice, and that's what they had to do for him.  (They still took him to the vet, but the vet said do that immediately and then bring him in.)  Just FYI!  And thank goodness your doggy wasn't bitten!!

Bridget - My parents got their dog a shot for snake bites because the snakes are so bad this year.   I have no idea how it works or what it does exactly, but I don't think it was too expensive.

I finally found a dress I really want for our rehearsal dinner... and it's $300... plus getting it altered and taxes, we're probably talking $350. The same dress was on sale in the store for $100, but not in my size. Seriously?
