Re: Southern comfort Food

  • I think any caterer will be able to do it.  I recommend Celebration or Black Eyed Pea.

There are two things that i think of when I think of southern comfort food. One is Black Eyed Pea and the other is Sweet Georgia Brown in South Dallas. I know a lot of people have given good reviews on BEP for catering especially since they aren't too expensive, and quite a few people have high remarks for SGB but this is for the quality of food not necessarily for catering for weddings.

Try Buttons in Addison. Their food is to die for and their catering prices are much more reasonable than their dine in prices. They catered a birthday party for my fiance and there were about 150 people (day after his family reunion) and they were very professional and efficient. I was very pleased.

  • Can I make an off the wall recommendation?  Market Street, IMO, has the best macaroni and cheese!  They do cater I know that and they had a wedding expo (at least the one in Colleyville did) a couple of weeks ago.  Why not give them a try? Couldn't hurt!  Good luck!
  • Babes, or Eddie Deens Catering is known for good home cooking.
