David's Bridal merchandise credit $374.55

So I purchased a bridesmaid dress from David's Bridal for $374.55 and now the wedding is cancelled, but the store won't refund my money.  Since the dress is pristine, they said they'd do an exchange but I already have my dress from elsewhere so let my loss be your gain- I will give you the merchandise credit for $250 cash.  That's a big savings to you! Please email me at tiffany1120@yahoo.com and we can set up the details!

Do you know that the store will transfer the credit?

Why don't you just use it for one of your bridesmaids?
    I'm skeptical.

Now why would you be skeptical, crash?  Northern CA (not even TX) and is here trying to sell a store credit... what seems fishy about that?

<div>I thought about that too...but i figured that when I worked at AA the whole database is intwined so you can look up brides and bridesmaids from WA while you stand in a store in TX.  I figured that's why she posted here... But the rest of it makes no sense.</div>

This was my first thought!  I assumed from the title it must be for a gown... that's a REALLY expensive BM dress from DB...

also...she said the wedding was cancelled, but then said she didn't want to trade it because she already got her dress elsewhere. Why would she buy another dress somewhere else if the wedding was cancelled??

    color me confused...

I took it as the wedding she was supposed to wear the BM dress to was cancelled, and she already has her wedding gown for her wedding. I still agree with PP, I call scam.

Are you effing kidding me? One post and you choose to offer it up to the seemingly gullible ladies of Dallas/Ft. Worth?
You lost me at 'I purchased a bridesmaid dress from David's Bridal for $374.55'. I'm not sure that exists.

    We iz not stoopid.

Yep! I want to see pics of this dress...with the tags attached that say that DB was charging that much for it. Along with a pic of the store credit receipt.

Also, I am pretty sure every dress I have purchased at DB for my girls had some sort of "all sales are final" mumbo jumbo on the receipt that I had to sign acknowledging that I was stuck with it. I can't remember exactly, I have had vodka since then.
