Dear Vet Clinic and Compounding Pharmacy,
My cat has been off her thyroid medicine for two weeks because neither one of you seem to have poop together.  She's old, she's throwing up and she's losing weight.  If I don't get a call back from either of you today, then we're going somewhere else tomorrow.

We had to make a $65 trip to the vet this morning, cause Mr Puppy had the runs and voms yesterday into this morning. Vet says he's okay, though.

The cause? He helped himself to FIs glass of wine on Friday and my schnauzer's bowl of NYE beer on Saturday. Yes, my schnauzer loves him some Fat Tire. Don't judge.

Apparently Bourbon was not amused when the vet tech lifted his tail to check his temp. He remembered what happened last time we were at the vet and they did that, and turn around and nipped at the poor tech!

Dear Amanda,

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time.   FI and I started out our relationship 6 hours apart and I was working an awful job at the time.  It was hard... really hard... and we were just dating, not married.  Definitely try to keep up with the hobbies.  Working out helped me to relieve a lot of the stress and anxiety I had, even if I just walked for 30 minutes.  Sometimes I just went and wandered around the big Half Price Books or Barnes and Nobles for hours.  I don't know why, but little things like that seemed to help.  You're going to be okay!  Obviously there are a lot of people here who are happy to cheer you up when you need it, too.


Another GTG soon?  That would be awesome! - maybe I could finally go for once!

Julie -- Sorry to hear about the kitty troubles.   I tried to use a compounding pharmacy on Royal/Abrams and that didn't go so well.  I always drove all the way to Las Colinas for my compounded thyroid meds because there was never any hassle whatsoever.  I hope they get their stuff sorted out.
