Have any of you used Spirit Airlines? My FI and I want to go to Vegas for Spring break and Spirit flights for $260 roundtrip (the cheapest I've seen). I usually fly Southwest or American. I don't trrust going with an airline I've never used and don't know much about. Have any of you had any problems or concerns with Spirit?

We used them for our honeymoon. They were ok, nothing horrible or outstanding about them. Check out their extra fees though. They charge you for every bag, checked & carry-on, every soda, snack, etc. Nothing is free with them, I guess that's how they can keep their rates low. I felt pretty cramped in our seats, but I don't know if they were any worse than any other airlines.

Anyways, we would use them again if they have more super low fares. Just be prepared for the extra charges.

Just FYI, they get terrible reviews on the LV board on Trip Advisor.  But mostly for the extra charges and cramped seats which Angela has already told you about!
