Cheap DJ

I need a cheap DJ. We are on a tight budget since we are paying for our wedding ourselves. I overspent in a couple areas so now I have to cut back on the DJ. I need someone who has the equipment and knows what they are doing but I know I cant be really picky. Does anyone know of a cheap DJ? Maybe someone who is just starting out so he is still trying to get his name out there.

    I'm using Andy as well.  He's great and we are getting the same rate as PP.  I know SummerB got married in Sept and used Andy and RAVED about him.

    PP (hopeless_romantic_luv)- we must have all the same vendors- Jennifer Strain, Andy and JoAnn for catering... great minds MUST think alike.  :-)

    He's $550 for ceremony and 4 hour reception along with travel fees (our reception is 2 1/2 hours away).

    I know I realized that we have a lot of the same vendors :)  Great minds do think alike.  The vendors I chose were the most cost effecient and most bang for your buck, but I still enjoyed the vendors as well.  I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for everything, which you shouldn't have to! 

    Are you going to JoAnn's tasting in January?  Let me know we are going...I can't wait to see your reviews on her b/c I must admit that I'm a little nervous and may actually have a bakery do our cakes, but waiting to see what everything taste like during the tasting...

    I met Andy--he was our second choice and I liked him. We ended up going with Melodies & Memories, but he would have been a good (and cheaper) option as well
